Weaving Tech and Story Learning Series
KARMA is announcing, Weaving Tech and Story Learning Series, the multiweek workshops comprising 90-120 minute learning workshops connecting coding, robotics, and storytelling to create 2-3 minute videos adapting robotics to the community.
Watch our own short film, Robotics for Finals, as an example of blending robotics and storytelling!
In partnership with Navajo Technical University Library, Tooh Haltsooi Community Center (Sheep Springs Community Center), and Tse’ii’ahi’ Community Center (Standing Rock Community Center), each of the locations will provide the same materials, curriculum, and workshops. Our attempt is to provide a geographically dispersed method of programming in rural communities.

Participate in our Community of Practice (CoP) network where we encourage multi-generational audiences to be curious, creative, and collective. We are excited to initiate our program with two workshops per week covering tech, coding, video production, and video editing.
We encourage participants to partake consistently but understand shifting priorities. We highly encourage RSVP for the workshops you’re most interested in.
We hope you join us on the journey of crafting stories to capture a vision of the future!
If you have any questions or concerns about the workshop, please contact Keanu at keanujonez@wiikarma.org.
This project is supported by Ke’yah Advanced Rural Manufacturing Alliance (KARMA), Yee Ha’ólníi Doo, and Navajo Transitional Energy Company.
