In response to elevating Playful Engineering Based Learning (PEBL), KARMA has organized a cohort of maverick teachers who embody the need for creative change in their school environments. Maverick teachers bridge the gap between formal and informal education that increases the students learning outcomes.
KARMA serves as the connection from Tufts University’s Center of Engineering Education and Outreach (CEEO) to expose the playful learning pedagogy with teachers in the Southwest region. The collaboration has kindled the development of a manual that encourages teachers to construct lessons that draw from playful learning and engineering approach.
