Materials needed

  • LEGO SPIKE Prime Hub
  • Color Sensor
  • Laptop and microphone to record audio for counting

Problem Statement

Design a robot that can name each of the sacred mountains when it senses the corresponding color.

Suggestions for adjusting lesson

  • To practice writing: Have students write the name of each mountain on the Hub instead of ‘E’, ‘S’, ‘W’, ‘N’.
  • To expand student understanding: Have students research stories or facts about one or more mountains and share what they learned in addition to the name of the mountain.
